Great trip, fun people, wonderful experiences, great food (too much) and lots of wine. Slovenia is a beautiful country with friendly people and lovely landscapes. Croatia was very nice too! Had a great tour!

Amazing food and wine, lovely and interesting accommodations, very well organized, and when circumstances necessitated last minute adjustments, Andrew made it all seamless. Local guides gave us insights into the history and culture of the area. The highlights of the tour (in addition to the food and wine) were hearing from the winemakers and farmers who were carrying on family traditions and/or starting up new enterprises. The small group made it easy to get to many out of the way places and our group of travelers got along great. Highly recommend!

This trip is for the wine lover who is also an adventurous foodie. There is very little unscheduled time, so be ready to hit the road daily. We sampled 70+ different wines over 10 days, often starting mid-morning and finishing late in the evening. In addition to the wine tasting we visited a bee farmer for a honey tasting, olive grove for an olive oil tasting, goat farm for a dinner primarily based on goat milk and meat products, pumpkin seed oil producer, chocolate producer who also cured meats. We ate bear, wild boar and roasted duck. Every tasting and meal included multiple wines and platters of cheeses and cured meats. There were four guided tours of interesting places along the way. The highlight for me was the Michelin star welcome meal.

This trip was incredible! We visited so many places that I wouldn't have gone to independently. We saw ancient Roman sites, hill towns, the coast, and some incredible wineries. The food on this tour was beyond the beyond! I was amazed at how elegant and refined the cuisine in Slovenia was. Andrew was an amazing guide and a lot of fun to be with! We had such a special group of people with us on this small tour - it felt like a family trip. Can't wait to do another tour next year!

This trip was exactly as described and what we expected. While it was jam-packed with activities it still budgeted time for us to unwind and have a glass of wine on a balcony overlooking beautiful places. (Sometimes the best part of travel is just being and seeing.) Our tour leader, Giusi, is unflappable, agreeable, knowledgeable and a really good driver and, if you’ve ever been in a car in a city in Sicily, you will know how important that is. (Me, often: "I'm just going to close my eyes now." Somehow she got us through!) Expert guides for several sites were excellent.
